With China’s rapid economic development, the government pays more and more attention to environmental protection. According to statistics,70%of nitrogen oxide emissions come from the direct combustion of coal. In China, it is important to install denitration device in coal-fired power plants in order to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides and improve the atmospheric environment. Denitration control system can not only protect the continuous operation of the process equipment, but also keep the denitration system safe and stable operation and maintaining a stable denitration efficiency. Denitrification efficiency depends not only on the level of process designing, but also the reasonable configuration of control system. The control strategy will directly affect the denitrification efficiency and crew safe and stable operation.In this paper, based on the two sets of flue gas denitrification control system in Cangdong power plant, the control strategy of SCR flue gas denitration system and T3000control system are introduced.The parameters of the unit are analyzed which affect the nitrogen oxides emissions. The prediction model of NOx emission has been built. Aim at the problem, which appeared in the implementation of the denitration project, some relevant solutions are discussed. The NOx emissions are reduced through the efficient operation. The result of practical operation has shown that denitrification control system can satisfy the requirements of automation control and provide the effective protection for the safe and efficient operation. The method is achieved through the design and industy application of denitrification control system. It will provide the template of the flue gas denitrification control system in coal-fired unit with certain engineering and practical significance.
