With the China’s economic development and maritime trade expansion, the construction of many large-scale projects, such as high-speed railways, highways, bridges, marine engineering, petroleum, chemical and large-scale public works projects have been put into construction, anti-corrosion coatings are widely used, and because application working conditions is harsh, conventional anti-corrosion coatings have been difficult to meet the requirements, the heavy-duty coatings has excellent corrosion resistance and other advantages, will be rapid development. The stainless steel powder heavy-duty coatings is a new kind coatings for improving steel products and steel structures durability, anti-corrosive properties. Because stainless steel powder heavy-duty coatings has good corrosion resistance, anti-oxidation, high temperature resistance, good chemical and abrasion resistant performance, and it can form a multilayer structure in the film, so it has excellent salt spray resistance and weather resistangce performance, also has life using. The heavy-duty coatings of stainless steel powder research to China’s anti-corrosion coatings industry development has great significance.In this paper, according to the heavy-duty coatings performance requirements and the characteristics of the material theirself, and the material using conditions and occasions, to chose the epoxy resin E51and E44two materials as the film-forming material, low molecular weight polyamide; isophthalic diamine as the curing agent, xylene, phenyl glycidyl as the thinner, stainless steel powder filler, cosolvent, these materials form the coating manufacture material, related to the use of coatings performance testing standards and rating methods as a guide, develop a kind of stainless steel powder heavy-duty coatings. Test design use uniform design method, test film performance indicators, using matlab curve fitting software tools, gets the impact on the performance of the components, calculated regression mathematical model. Using Excel office software "Solver" tool finding the maximum regression model, the maximum value determined by the regression model, obtained the ratio of the film-forming composition, the curing agent, the amount of thinner added. In the case of known scale factor, the use of single-factor analysis, by changing the amount of each component, test the film impact resistance, acid corrosion resistance, hydrochloric acid, adhesion and other indicators, drawn film properties with different amounts of the various components of the relationship chart, by analyzing the chart, knows the adaptation range of curing agents, film material, thinner, stainless steel powder, co-solvents added.In determining the proportion of each component, as well as the amount of the individual components added the adaptation range, on the basis, use uniform design table U10*(108), designed to test the program, be tested according to the test plan design, test taking various indicators of the film. The use of cosine law empowerment-TOPSIS ideal, build a mathematical model, stroked the correlation coefficient through, stroked the comprehensive evaluation test parameters, namely closeness. After the close of the arrangement in accordance with the size, close to a large degree, the comprehensive evaluation is high, therefore, determined the preferred coating formulations, is46.2%film-forming materials, curing agent14.3%, thinner is11%, stainless steel powder16.8%, cosolvent11.7%.
