With the change of the oil business concept, maximizing the economic benefits hasbecome the main goal of oilfield. In order to ensure economic efficiency, when carrying outeconomic evaluation of oil and gas reserves, should be done so that each new production ofoil from the outset of economic output, and guarantee that the decisions are consistent witheconomic efficiency, we should be assure that we can gain economic output at the begin ofoilfield first production stage and economic benefits can be obtained after the decisions. Fromthe exploration stage to development stage of oilfield, we must first understand thedistribution of underground oil and water, then according to that, we pick up the mostfavorable block, conduct research on well network deployment, and take appropriatemeasures to exploit oil under reasonable economic conditions. In this paper, based on reservoir profile shows and combined with effective reservoirprediction plane distribution, we identified oil and water distribution characteristics anddeveloped a high accuracy identification plate of oil and water relationship; Combined thewell logging interpretation data with the dynamic breakeven principle, we conductedreserches on the effective utilization of production and reservoir thickness limit, picked up afavorable deployment block, carried out a feasibility study on developing horizontal wells; wedeveloped geological model and numerical models on the preferred block through integratedreservoir logging, geological data, and the dynamic development data, according to thehistory matching of the established numerical model, we conducted a comprehensivedescription of the distribution of the remaining oil. By optimizing the length of the horizontalwell, we established a reasonable allocation relationship between horizontal wells andfractures, conducted a research on effective well network deployment, and gave a set of thebest well network deployment.
