Gear seat is one of the most important part in the rolling gear machinery andequipment, which fatigue damage is mainly due to the tooth surface pitting, toothwear and plastic deformation. Conventional tooth contact strength calculation formulais mainly based on Hertz classical theory, the results obtained when using differentstrength design criteria calculations may vary greatly, and the calculation process is socomplex and cumbersome design that the development cycle will be restricted, therefore, the use of ANSYS parametric Design Language (APDL) to achieveautomatic gear contact fatigue strength, rapid finite element analysis is particularlyimportant. In this paper, the angle displacement helical cylindrical gears of two-roll millwith BF2-630gear seat as the research object, the application language APDLparametric achieved gear three-dimensional parametric design and grid model, avoiding the use of through the establishment of traditional methods and thenimported into the finite element model for data analysis software that may occurduring loss issues and problems can not be parameterized mesh gear control CADsoftware (such as Pro/E, Solidworks, CATIA, etc.) in; application APDL languagegear made contact with static analysis, get the size and distribution of the toothsurface contact stress and Mises stress, and the parameterized static gear contactanalysis makes the reliability sensitivity analysis calculations become possible;application of ANSYS software to the kinetic gear contact analysis, contact stress ofdifferent sizes have been engaged position, distribution and changes over time, bycomparing the results of static analysis and dynamic contact analysis and thendiscovery that gear pair may produce shock and vibration, stress values than the staticstress analysis of dynamics in contact analysis was obtained large, and kinetic gearcontact analysis reflects the dynamic nature of the process; application of ANSYSprobabilistic reliability analysis module calculates sensitivity gear, got tooth surfacecontact stress on the elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio, sensitivity and relevance.
