Welding is an important production technology in industrial production andnational economy. It plays an important role in the country construction. People canobtain excellent welding connection quality and excellent welding using componentby welding. Welding has obvious advantages compared with riveting and boltwelding structure and the other connection structures. While, welding structures alsohave obvious deficiency. There is large welding stress and deformation in the weldingstructures. The concentration of welding seam stress is the origin of fatigue, fractureand damage in welding structures. Therefore, it is necessary to study welding residualstress and grasp its distribution around the welding area so as to provide reference forthe design of structures.Based on the heat function of the finite element software ANASYS, using theindirect coupling method and considering the single coupling temperature fieldã€strainfield of welding stress. This article is studying and analysis the fillet welding forcrane girder web plate and flange plate of box structure, calculating its weldingtemperature field and stress field. This article selects the double ellipsoid heat sourcemodel and selects proper material properties of heat, using APDL language of finiteelement software ANSYS to realize the loading of moving heat source and simulationof the dynamic changes of the welding temperature field, then on the basis ofchanging the corresponding heat unit into structural unit, analysis and calculate theresidual stress.The welding process is a transient thermal process, in order to simulate thesolidification process of melting, the image of the molten pool of metal, using themethod of element birth and death,“kill†the material units which exceed the meltingpoint, intensify the unit that not exceed the melting point, so as to provide thedistribution of residual stress in fillet weld and the surrounding.This article selects3D modeling, the fillet welding in the girder flange and webof crane metal structure of box shape, simulating the moving heat source under the three dimensional temperature field to realize the dynamic simulation analysis ofresidual stress for crane metal structure stress analysis and fatigue life calculation ofreference, but also promote the application of the finite element software in structureanalysis of welding. |
