Study On The Dynamic Property Of The Threading Technology Of CNC Lathe

The effective function of screws is affected by the quality of screw surface which may bedefaced by the chatter of turning vibration during the process of machining. Therefore, a lot ofattention should be massively paid to avoid such an annoying problem, the producing of thevibration wave curve. The process of generating vibration while turning is complicated, whichis related to not only the material and stiffness of the workpiece but also some other factorssuch as the method of CNC machine feed, the stiffness of tool hand, the choice of tools angleand so forth. In this paper, based on the theory of machining chatter, the mathematic model ofthe process of threading while machine is fluttering, is deduced, and the main factors ofthreading chatter are given relatively, eventually, the solution to elude something bad whenthreading is also written clearly.In this paper, three types of tool hand was analyzed in modal analysis, and the resultsshows that block tool hand is much better than the other two, whose frequency is several timesthan the circle-profile and cone-profile tool hand·s.As the mathematic model established and calculated, effect on cutting with betweenangle of stiffness axes and friction angle is revealed in a figure, and effect of amplitude onvelocity is carved in another figure. According to the two figures, some conclusions areshowed in this paper.In addition, the modal analyses of workpiece are given to explain the other reasons ofmachining chatter and support another way to think of such a problem at the same time.Without any resonance, the nuance of the frequency of workpiece cut and uncut shows littleinfluence with the process of threading.With the analyses and the conclusions, some bases on chatter problems are vitallyfundamental to the future research built up properly.
