The dissertation focused on the study of the micro-structure and nonlinear opticalproperties of the colloidal metal chalcogenide quantum dots(Qdots) synthesized viasolvothermal method and discussed how dispersant influenced the local structure andthe nonlinear optical response of the PbS quantum dots. We also designed a wetchemical process to fabricate Ag2Se quantum dots and studied its micro-structure andnonlinear optical properties as well, in which, we found a phenomenon that haven`tbeen published yet--the regrowth kinetics and discussed how this kinetics affected themicrostructure and the nonlinear optical properties of Ag2Se quantum dots. The mainwork is summarized as follows:1. Synthesized the PbS and Ag2Se quantum dots based on solvothermal method.Classified by the dispersant, the PbS quantum dots can be listed as PbS-toluene Qdots,PbS-hexane Qdots and PbS-CTC Qdots.2. Investigated the microstructure and absorption spectrum of the Qdots mentionedabove by HRTEM technology and UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and discussed theinfluence that dispersant leaded to the Qdots. Discovered the regrowth kinetics of theAg2Se Qdots.3. By using the Raman spectroscopy, we studied the molecular vibrational modesof the above Qdots and investigated the difference of the Raman spectrum of the PbSQdots synthesized by three kinds of dispersant. Studied the Raman scatteringcharacteristic curves of the Ag2Se Qdots.4. Measured the nonlinear optical refraction index of the PbS Qdots by Z-scantechnology and elaborate the regrowth kinetics of the Ag2Se Qdots.
