At present, most of the oil fields have entered the later period of mining production oil recovery of the sucker rod pump occupies a large proportion. But due to the pumping unit and other production equipment is mostly in the fieldwork, the surrounding conditions are poor, and underground working conditions of the pumping units are complex, which leads to pumping unit often break down. For small fault, using the simple method can be ruled out, but for big failure if it’s not handled in time, it will affect the production and benefits of oil field.In order to solve the above problem, puts forward the pumping unit wells fault analysis model based on support vector machine in this paper. This model bases on pump indicator diagrams and the value of each pumping subsystem efficiency. First of all, compares the each pumping unit subsystem efficiency value of actual wells and standard wells, for the ratio to judge whether the pumping unit is abnormal or not. After for the abnormal situation of pumping unit wells, by solving the wave equation mathematical model, converting suspension point indicator diagram to pump indicator diagram, using the improved curve of vector data compression algorithm to extract the feature points of the pump indicator diagrams. On this basis, uses the "One-against-one " classification algorithm of support vector machine, and uses the grid search of cross validation method to optimize the parameters of support vector machine, establishes the pumping unit wells fault analysis model based on support vector machine, finally implements to diagnose and analyze the fault of pumping unit wells.At last, on the basis of pumping unit wells fault analysis model based on support vector machine, develops the pumping unit wells fault analysis system. In the process of system development, designs the specific implementation method of the pumping unit wells fault analysis system in detail, and through analyzing the pump indicator diagrams simulation examples, each pumping unit subsystem efficiency curve simulation examples and pumping unit fault diagnosis examples to verify model and method have good feasibility in this paper, the system is developed based on the model which has a good application value.
