Aiming at the o-iminobenzoquinonato metal complexes which were well-studied, this issue synthesized aminophenolate ligands in a novel "one-step" way and o-iminobenzosemiquinonato metal complexes which were applied in ethylene polymerization. A series of aminophenolate ligands (Li-Ls) were firstly prepared, which were used as the reagents of o-iminobenzosemiquinonato complexes of Co(Ⅱ)(la-5a) and Ni(Ⅱ)(1b~5b). Structures of the compounds above were confirmed by the analysis of1H NMR, IR and TLC. Four representative complexes were used as catalysts (Cat-l-Cat-4) for ethylene polymerization. The effects of reaction conditions such as polymerization temperature, co-catalysts and molar ratios of Al/Ni, catalyst dosage on catalytic activities and polymerization kenitics were also discussed.Highest activities of the four catalysts could be obtained at30℃, and the activity of Cat-4was the highest, up to6.38x105g/(mol Ni-h). The catalytic system composed of Cat-4and co-catalysts MAO were more active than the system composed of those and EADC under atmospheric pressure. The catalytic activities of the Cat-4were highest when the molar ratio of Al/Ni was400. In addition, the catalytic activities of Cat-4changed over the dosage of the catalysts. The catalytic activities of the Cat-4prefered highest when the dosage of catalyst was7.5μmol. During the early stage of the ethylene polymerization, the catalytic activities of Cat-3and Cat-4were higher. The absorption rates increased rapidly to the highest at about20min, after then began to decrease. There were a bit of high molecule polymers and vast oligomers. By comparing with the GC sample, the results confirmed that the oligomers mainly consisted of Cs-Ci2olefin.
