Currently the primary means of steam as a heat stimulation mining, hydrogen sulfidebegan to appear in the well casing, along with the application of heat and increase the timetaken SAGD technology, increasing the number of wells containing hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen sulfide concentration rising, corrosion product-ferrous sulfide. Ferrous sulfidehas pyrophoric, which leads to spontaneous combustion at room temperature in contactwith oxygen in the air quickly exothermic reaction. During normal operation of equipment, tanks ferrous sulfide is in anaerobic environments and oxidation reactions can not occur. To avoid spontaneous combustion equipment accident occurred ferrous sulfide, must carryout in-depth study of the mechanism of spontaneous combustion of ferrous sulfide, ferroussulfide may be present on the site, causing fire and explosion hazard degree of in-depthanalysis, and ultimately made spontaneous combustion of ferrous sulfide appropriate safetycontrol measures.By studying Shuguang ferrous sulfide production mechanism to determine the factorsaffecting ferrous sulfide generation and spontaneous combustion. This paper argues thatthe iron sulfur compounds inhibit the generation of the following ways: First, strengthendesulfurization equipment controlling the concentration of H2S in the gas. The second is toimprove the corrosion resistance of the device. The third is to strengthen the managementof the device. Ferrous sulfide prevent spontaneous combustion safety control measures:strict temperature control overhaul, eliminating the use of ferrous sulfide passivationactivity, reduce the temperature, kept moist, controlled oxygen content, so keep the tankalive tank status.
