The precision of conventional sand control technique is high, and the free sand in theformation will plug the pores, which reduce the productivity of oil well. The cold sand miningtechnology improves formation permeability and increases well production, but long-ternexploitation will destroy the rock matrix,leading to the collapse of the wall. Appropriate sandcontrol technique is between the two techniques. It can lead the sand flows into the wellborethrough an appropriate way of sand control and sand control parameters. It can both increasethe permeability of the formation to improve the productivity and guarantee safety production.In this paper, in the light of the problems of mining sand carrying wellbore flow rule forreasonable sanding of heavy oil unconsolidated sandstone reservoir, the main word is done inthe following two aspects.(1)Carried out oil/sand mixture viscosity and sand concentration, submergence flowefficiency of single grain and grain diameter, intervening sinking speed and sandconcentration relationship experiment under the condition of heavy oil. Established countingmodel of oil/sand mixture viscosity, latitude submergence flow efficiency and interveningsinking speed and laid theoretical foundation for heavy oil wellbore carrying capacityprediction.(2)Carried out the carrier shaft cross-section sand concentration change rule of thenumerical simulation research, gives the wellbore flow velocity, sand concentration, viscosity,particle size on the influence law of wellbore section sand concentration; shaft carryingcapacity prediction model is established, the rich developed the theory of solid-liquidtwo-phase flow, moderate for heavy oil reservoir sand control completion optimization laid atheoretical foundation.
