Abstract:Heavy metal ions are seriously harmful to natural environment and human health, especially the trace heavy metal ions are more difficult to handle due to the trait of concealment. So the trace heavy metal ions treatment has become one important research hotspot. Nanoporous organic polymers (NOPs) with various organic skeleton can provide vast choice space for heavy metal ions adsorption, and the abundant porosity and high specific surface area of NOPs endow its high adsorption capacity. Now, it is popular to develop a kind of NOPs with excellent stability, effective heavy metal ion adsorption and detection ability.Firstly, dibenzofuran and Dibenzothiophene as monomer, Furan and thiophene-triazine hypercrosslinked polymer (FHPTs and THPTs) have been facilely synthesized by Friedel-Crafts reaction with2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine. The resultant polymers have moderate BET surface areas (432m2/g and55m2/g, respectively). FHPTs attain good efficiency and high adsorption affinity for mercury ions (up to604mg g-1). Unexpectedly, FHPTs feature fluorescence that is obviously weaken after Hg uptake by the PL spectrum. These polymers with excellent stability have attractive application in the field of trace heavy metal ions adsorption and sensing. Then, we use benzene ether and benzene sulfur ether as monomer, benzene ether and benzene thioether-triazine hypercrosslinked polymers (OHPTs and SHPTs) were obtained via Friedel-Crafts reaction. The BET specific surface area are up to22m/g and45m/g. SHPTs show good adsorption capability (31,32,26,48mg/g, respectively) for different heavy metal ions (Cu, Pb, Cd, Hg). SHPTs exhibit good fluorescence response for mercury ions. It is expected that the polymers can apply to the trace heavy metal ions adsorption and detection.
