LBE techniquecs developed quickly from the1980s. Compared with BOF, LBF could reduce the iron content effectively, improve metal yield, and adjust composition, reduce the consumption. It can improve smelting efficiency.The steelworks plant of Laiwu steel and iron company has4BOF.They found LBE is more efficency than BOF by index contrast. So they decided to transform BOF for LBE. This project would cost24million yuan by calculating. How to reduce the project cost and make the project come true? This question has high engineering and significance.This subject based on engineering practice. A bottom blowing system implementation scheme which based on a new furnace structure design, a process of deep hole drilling on line and a new bottom blowing based on MFC design was made through analyzing the characteristics of bottom blowing system,designing the Bottom blowing’s torch road path and calculating the performance characteristics of the control system. This project accomplished in2012.This topic through a systematic study of the steelmaking process. According to the structure and assembly of small tonnage of furnace failure characteristics, while taking advantage of three-dimensional simulation technology to simulate gravity furnace furnace shell shaking changes, complete the "Embedded furnace structure" machine related equipment design. Combined with the care circle trunnion assembly structure finite element analysis trunnion load check, complete the overall design of the end of the blowpipe road system. According to the needs of the pipeline processing, completeing the online tools and machining lines deep processing technology designed. According to the smelting demand, perfect the LBE control model. And analyse tihe function of the control system, using the mass flow controller instead of control valve to reduce the cost of system investment and improve the control precision.Based on the above findings, I completed a small tonnage of Laiwu Steel Mill Complex blow refining converter design and put into production applications;the results show that the system is running well, the system structure is stable and reliable and the reduction and efficiency of the coset meet the needs of the enterprise.
