| The "feng" is the abbreviation of phoenix, which is the king of the birds; which is the mythical bird of the ancient Chinese. With her unique literary grace and style, she enters the oriental art forest without any shy. The application of phoenix in Chinese traditional culture is developing all the time and is the c ontinuation of Chinese traditional culture, because she represents a profound national characteristics. A s one of the quintessence of Chinese traditional patterns, she reflects the different spirit of the times and national complex.Phoneix veins, famous at home and abroad for over millennium, are deeply rooted in Chinese traditional culutre. In a long time, the traditional auspicious ideas and the aesthetic connotations of the phoenix patterns have impacted on people’s modern life.Moreover, the phoneix viens represent the long history of China’s brilliant culture as well as Chinese people’s noble moral traits.As China is opening to the world and into the world, the image of phoenix is widely recognized, accepted and favored globally.I focused on the brand visual image designation, after quoting, deformation and restructuring, for the Traditional Grain. According to the grain in the application of different brands I tried to present the traditional grain decorative aesthetic feeling.More importantly,I emphasized the combination of traditional elements and modern visual elements.Taking the original pattern as a supporting point and revelation point, I put the essence of Chinese traditional art into the modern plane design, emphasised on traditional culture and modern design in the true sense.This integration is not a simple addition, but giving its connotation to the modern plane design, based on the traditional Chinese culture on the basis of deep understanding.The article is composed of five big chapters.The first one discusses the current situation of research, target, background and innovation points. The second and third chapter introduced the origin of the traditional grain and the development of it in the various dynasties and evolution, etc. It all sidedly analyzed the beauty-appreciation and the cultural characteristics of the traditional grain. The fourth chapter emphatically introduced the application of modern graphic design from the traditional grain samples, combined with my design work. The purpose of the research is the mutual interinfiltration and fusion of traditional elements and modern design, to find out the graphic design works of excavated with Chinese characteristics. |
