My research was focused on two sections as follows:1. Synthesis of prothioconazole, A high Efficient and safe fungicideProthioconazole is an efficient and safe fungicide, was synthesized using α-acetyl-γ-butyrolactone as a starting material, comprising7reaction steps as below:firstly, react with a sulfonyl chloride chlorinated a-acetyl-a-chloro-y-butyrolactone; secondly, with concentrated hydrochloric acid open-loop and decarboxylation; thirdly, in aqueous sodium hydroxide to generate three-membered ring; then the reaction with thionyl chloride to form an intermediate1-chloro-l-chloroacetyl-cyclopropane; Obtained intermediate react with2-chloro-benzyl chloride’s Grignard reagent; subsequently with1H-1,2,4-triazole take condensation reaction; Finally electrophilic addition reaction with sulfur get prothioconazole. The main innovation of this technology:optimize each step reaction conditions and improve yield; one-pot with open-loop and decarboxylation, simplify operations and improve the efficiency of the entire production process; Grignard reaction with methyl tert-butyl ether in place of ether, the reaction to a large chemical production; simplify treatment after the reaction and improve yield.2. Study of2-isopropyl Thioxanthone oxidation reaction of sulfoxideSulfoxides is a very important class of intermediates, widely used in the field of Pharmaceuticals, pesticides, fine chemicals, synthetic fibers, organic synthesis, light initiator, etc.2-isopropyl-thioxanthone oxidized to the sulfoxide, and further react with diphenyl to form sulfonium salt intermediate, then with potassium hexafluorophosphate ion exchange to obtain10-(4-biphenylyl)-2-isopropyl thioxanthone sulfonium salt of potassium hexafluorophosphate, is a kind of efficient photoinitiator. We break the traditional ideas, nitrogen dioxide gas directly oxide2-isopropyl-thioxanthone to the sulfoxide. This method is cheap and readily available raw materials, the efficient, safe, environmentally friendly and can be recycled nitrogen dioxide.
