A series of new coordination polymers, namely,[Zn2(Htrb)(L1)2]·8H2O (1),[Zn2(Htrb)(HL2)2(H2O)2]4H2O (2),[Cu3(Htrb)(L2)2(H2O)2]·8H2O (3),[Ag5(Htrb)(HL2)(L2)(H2O)2]·2H2O (4),[Cu4(Htrb)(L3)4(H2O)2]·3H2O (5),[Ag6(Htrb)2(HL4)2(L5)]·2H3L4·6H2O (6),[Ag4(Htrb)2(H2L6)2](7),[Zn3(Htrb)(L7)(SO4)2]·10H2O (8),[Ag6(Htrb)2(HL8)2(H2O)3]·2H2O (9),[Ag2(Htrb)]·2NO3(10),[Cu6Na2(Htrb)4(Mo6O19)(MoO4)6]·9H2O (11),[Zn3(Htrb)(Mo10O34)]·8H2O (12), and[Zn2(Htrb)(β-Mo8O26)(H2O)2]·6H2O (13), have been successfully synthesized, where Htrb=hexakis(1,2,4-triazol-ylmethy1)benzene, H2L1=5-OH-1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid, H3L2=1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, H2L3=1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid, H3L4=1,2,4-benzenetricarboxylic acid, H2L5=2-CH2OH-1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid, H4L6=3,3’,4,4’-benzophenone tetracarboxylate acid, H2L7=fumaric acidand, H4L8=4,4’-oxidiphthalic acid. Their structures have been determined by single-crystal X-raydiffraction analyses and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectra, and powderX-ray diffraction patterns.Compounds1and2feature typical2D binodal4-connected networks with (4·64·8)2(42·64)topology. Compound3exhibits a3D (4,6)-connected (44·62)(44·610·8) framework. Compound4shows a3D (6,8)-connected framework with (34·44·52·65)2(34·412·54·68) topology. Compound5possesses a3D2-fold interpenetrating (3,4,6)-connected net with (4·62)(8·65)(42·68·83·102)topology. Compound6features an unusual3D (4,6)-connected net with(32·62·72)(3·4·5·62·8)2(32·42·52·64·72·83) topology. Compound7displays a2D layer with(3,4)-connected (4·62)2(42·62·82) topology. Compound8shows a typical3D (4,6)-connected(44·62)(44·610·8) net. Compound9shows a uninodal2D4-connected network with (44)(62)topology. Compound10reveals a3D (4,8)-connected net with (46)2(412·612·84) topology. The3D framework of11can be reduced to a3D (4,6)-connected net with (48·62)(412·63)(46·87·102)topology. Compound12displays a3D framework containing1D inorganic molybdenumoxide chains; Compound13features a3D (4,5,6)-connected (44·62)(46·64)(48·65·82) net.The coordination modes of the multidentate N-donor Htrb ligand and the effects of thecarboxylates on the structures of the coordination polymers have been discussed. In addition,the luminescent properties of compounds1,2, and8have also been investigated in detail. |
