In recent years, functional MOFs aroused people’s great attention, not onlybecause they are ever-changing topology, but also due to the huge potential of themas functional materials, such as gas adsorption and separation, magnetic, host-guestchemistry, sensing, fluorescence, molecular recognition, catalysis and so on. In thisprocess, people found that when using organic carboxylic acid ligands and nitrogenligand together build metal organic framework, the whole structure in the form moreflexible, at the same time, the polymer structure of internal coordination environmentmore diversification, can form different topology structure. In this paper, we useThiophene carboxylic acid ligands with transition metal ions in the solvent thermalconditions, through the introduction of nitrogen auxiliary ligand, successfullysynthesized a series of new structure of metal-organic coordination polymer, and itsstructure and properties of the related research. This article is divided into fourchapters.In the first chapter,we mainly introduced what is metal organic coordinationpolymer, the research progress of the coordination polymers that based on acarboxylic acid ligands and nitrogen ancillary ligands,as well as the selected topicsignificance and the progress of this project.In the second chapter, two Metal-organic frameworks,[Co(btdt)(bpp)(H2O)0.5]·H2O (1),[Co(btdt)(bpe)]·DMF (2) have been successfullyconstructed by2,2’-dithiophene-5,5’-dicarboxylic acid.1features a3Dself-penetrating porous coordination polymer which results from two-foldinterpenetrating4-connected diamondoid frameworks linked by bpp ligands.2is a3D two-fold interpenetrating pillar-layered structure.In the third chapter, one metal-organic coordination polymers, Yb(btdt)1.5(H2O)3(3) have been constructed carboxylate ligand2,2’-dithiophene-5,5’-dicarboxylic acid lanthanide metal ions.In the conclusion, we have summarized the structures of the three Metal-organic frameworks.
