Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene(ABS) is the most widely used polymer with thelargest production. Although ABS has excellent properties of mechanics and moldingand the advantages of easy to dyeing and electroplating and so on, ABS also hasdisadvantages of flammability, surface hardness, low thermal deformationtemperature and poor weather resistance etc. It greatly limits the scope of applicationof ABS. However, the modification of ABS and its alloys can improve itsperformance, greatly expanded the scope of use.In order to improve the compatibility of alloys and the modification of ABS, theaccurately measured compatilizer of different grafting rates through infraredspectrum and acid-base titration is made in this paper. In the PA6/ABS alloy, theinputs of compatilizer1with low grafting rate is10%for the best result. In thePC/ABS alloy, the inputs of compatilizer2with high grafting rate which has the besteffect is10%, and its elongation at break is10times of the one withoutcompatibilizer. In the PBT/ABS alloy, the amount of maleic anhydride introducedby the compatibilizer needs to control to avoid the degradation of PBT, so theaddition of the compatibilizer1is10%for the greatest effect. In the alloy ofABS/TPU, the optimum amount of the compatibilizer2is5%. The rigidity of theABS, enhanced by GF, is greatly improved. With the addition of10%of the highgrafting rate compatibilizer2,the results of all properties is best and the notchedimpact strength achieves14.98KJ/m2.
