River dredging is defined as the way to unblock the sediment under the water toguarantee the waterway clean and workable.More and more people pay close attention tothe waterway dredging engineering for it can transfer the sewage to clean water.The treatment of the sediment from dredging is to pile up to the shore or dump to theocean which actually neither solvethe fundmental problem of dredging project nor thesecond-pollution.This paper research and analyze the sediment from Chong Qing Three Gorges toprove the feasibility which is the sludge can be used as green land.The sediment from dredging project can also use as the sintered bricks and thesolidfired body. The sediment interstitial water can be solved by the artificial infiltrationsystem rapidly.Made the sintered brick and the solidfired body by mixing the clay, fly ash, cementsolidification material,waste gypsum and fly ash during the research of sedimentrecycling use shows the result: With the increase of clay composition, the sample of claybrick’s pressure resistance is stronger; on the contrary, with the increase of fly ashcompostion, the sample of fly ash brick’s pressure resistance is weaker. And the pressureresistance will be different in the different sintering temperature. The pressure resistenceof clay brick and fly ash brick can reach extremum high--13.9Mpa, when thetemperature is1050°C, and the fly ash brick in temperature of c1000°C、1050°C can upto the standard of common brick MU10.Considering of ecnomical application and solidification, the optimal proportion ofcement,fly ash and gypsum should be10%、5%:2%to meet the requirment of soil-filledProcessing experiment to sediment interstitial water via simple artificial rapidinfiltration system. The experimental result showed that,combination of clay,zeolite andgrait have well removal efficiency to COD and NH3-N contained in sediment interstitialwater. The system will show better cleaning ability on the condition of1:5of wet and dryradio,hydraulic loading1.5m/d,and8h hydraulic loading period, the average cleaning rate to COD and NH3-N reach to60%.
