With the development of Chinese coal industry, coal mines faster and faster, and more and more colliery enters deep mining. Soft rock roadway support has always been a problem of mine roadway engineering; especially underground coals entering into deep mining, the original hard rock also exhibits the characteristics of soft rock, and roadway has a lot of destruction, for example surrounding rock Shear dilation, large deformation, water expansion reduction of area, slabbing, caving and floor heave and so on, which lead to surrounding rock of roadway damage Severely and deformation can not be effectively controlled, so a major threat be exposed at high production and high efficiency of mining. In this paper, with the engineering background of-720m auxiliary return-air roadway in Chensilou mine, the geological conditions of roadway and the current support system are described in detail. By in-situ stress measurement of roadway, bolt for nondestructive testing,and monitoring surface displacement of roadway, comprehensive evaluation of the current roadway support system. By the analysis of roadway damage factors and the roadway support is put forward to get measures of economic and reasonable reinforcement scheme The main research contents are listed as follows:(1)Comprehensive research and analysis on supporting mechanism of deep soft rock roadway with large section,which provide the basis for Chensilou-720m horizontal auxiliary air return roadway system as well as the design of reinforcement scheme.(2)According to the actual situation, the-720horizontal auxiliary air return roadway geological is elaborated condition. On the basis of suspension theory and engineering analogy method, the tunnel current support system parameter is designed, elaborated in detail the-720auxiliary air return roadway currently support scheme.(3)Detection surface displacement monitoring field testing nondestructive stress testing, bolt on-720m auxiliary ventilation roadway of Chensilou mine, which can draw some conclusion that the roadway support is difficult under horizontal stress, that anchoring section anchoring force, deformation of roadway surrounding rock is small and that the roadway deformation is not effectively controlled It is found that the beam section of roadway support works well, and that the anchor section support system supporting work poor. The current roadway supporting system of evaluation (4)Survey on timbering quality of-720m auxiliary ventilation roadway of Chensilou mine finds that anchor spray tunnel roof and floor deformation are more severe than laneway’s side. Analysis on damage factors of-720m auxiliary ventilation roadway of Chensilou mine and the roadway support proper measures and reasonable reinforcement scheme is put forward.
