In recent years, with the development of our economy and the progress of human society, the intensity of coal mining and scope expands unceasingly, better coal seam occurrence condition gradually dried up, how to safe and efficient mining steep coal seam has become an urgent problem in the coal industry development in our country.Based on the engineering background of Jiangxi Tianhe coal mine at the mining group, through the geological conditions, roadway of quantities, material consumption and the economic comparison and analysis, determine suitable for Tianhe coal mining in steeply inclined thick coal seam is given priority to, such as extracting seam of small and medium-sized coal mine coal mining method for the horizontal section of sliding bracket the caving mining method.By FLAC3D numerical simulation to study the different mining height are broken and caving height on the influence of surrounding rock stress and the plastic area, and the maximum stress concentration factor in front of the coal wall and its influence scope.Through the study of the theory of reasonable caving height calculation, and combined with the actual conditions, it is concluded that the reasonable range of the segmentation height of the Tianhe coal mine.Using PFC2D software for different top-coal high release rate, the discharge way of top and interval are simulated coal research. To carry on the corresponding to the mine technical conditions of these compressors, and put forward the mining process and technical parameters, for other similar mines mining area to provide reference in the mining of deeply inclined thick coal seam working face safe and efficient basis.
