Due to production needs in coal preparation plant, make dense medium cyclone keep developing to large-scale unceasingly, cause its effective separation size limit to continuously improve. In the heavy medium cyclone, the coal grain sorting accuracy of less than2.00mm is very low; In the flotation technology of coal slime separation can be achieved for less than0.50mm, but in the actual production separation for only less than0.25mm, which can be separated effectively, because more than0.25mm thick coal’s collecting ability is poor, because of flotation bubble carrying capacity is insufficient, and the loss in the tailing in flotation process.which resulting in0.25to2.00mm this part of the coarse grain slime in the current coal preparation process in the system, it is difficult to get a reasonable and effective separation.As the coarse coal slime recovery more and more attention to people, which accordingly has produced many recycling equipment for the coarse slime, However, slime dense medium cyclone is relatively ideal, it makes up for the lower limit of raw coal dense medium cyclone separation, makes the coarse slime maximize sorting and recycling, reducing the flotation into the feed rate, reducing the flotation cost, also meet the needs of the clean coal yield maximization.This paper analysis the raw coal and slime in HuaiBei coal preparation plant, Then the separation of the equipment data is analyzed in coarse slime recovery system, by fitting the data and the planning method, calculates the actual rate and their performance indicators of the vibration sieve bend and coal slime centrifuge and coal slime dense medium cyclone. Finally setting up three products of raw coal dense medium cyclone’s model, the model using the theory of distribution curve of translation to optimize the raw coal.Optimization analysis was carried out on the coarse slime recovery system at the same time, calculate the amount of recycled coarse clean coal and flotation feed rate and the product quantity, thus make a comprehensive evaluation of the coarse slime recovery system in HuaiBei coal preparation plant.
