In this paper, the engine oil low temperature performance flow from low temperatureperformance, low temperature to study the starting performance and low temperaturepumping performance, along with the continuous in-depth study, can clear the engine oil hasgood low temperature start first, second to have good low temperature pumping and lowtemperature fluidity, to make the car engine starting and normal operation. Low temperatureflow property into oil pour point and kinematic viscosity and viscosity index three aspects tostudy; Low-temperature startup performance to study from the aspects of dynamic viscosityat low temperature and low temperature pumping performance from the boundarytemperature and low temperature pump pumping viscosity two aspects to study.Papers selected22groups of different models of gasoline engine oil, diesel oil, testunder different temperature, oil pour point, kinematic viscosity, low-temperature dynamicviscosity, boundary temperature and low temperature pump pumping viscosity change invalue, in-depth analysis and study the relationship between the low temperature performance,and low temperature conditions the influence law of temperature change on the engine oillow temperature performance. As the temperature decreases, the oil viscosity increasegradually, the faster the temperature, the lower the oil viscosity increase, whereas theopposite. When the temperature is relatively high (such as above-20℃), the rate at whichthe oil viscosity increases with the decreasing of temperature is small; When the temperatureis relatively low (such as below-20℃), with the temperature gradually decreased, the oilsample viscosity increases the rate of increase graduallyThrough data analysis, it can be seen that the oil pour point is higher than the oil in thelow-temperature dynamic viscosity when the boundary value of minimum temperature start,start the lowest temperature and pumping slightly below the boundary temperature, engine oilapplicable environment temperature can pumping temperature is consistent with boundary orslightly higher, and generally to5~7℃higher than the oil pour point. In this paper, we usethe general owners commonly used gasoline engine oil, diesel oil as the research object, analyses how to choose correct engine oil under different ambient temperature.
