Polybenzimidazole (PBI) as a new type of high temperature resistant materials,due to its remarkable performance of thermal stability and proton conductivity, Whichis widely used in aerospace, military and industrial circle, such as fuel cells.Especially as some reports of the doped PBI company proton membrane, theresearchers pay more and more attention to the study of polybenzimidazole materialsThe thesis mainly use4,4’-diamino diphenyl sulfone as the starting material,After five steps, We get3,3’,4,4’-tetra-amino hydrochloride diphenyl sulfone whichas tetra-amino monomer, with a variety of dicarboxylic acid by solutionpolymerization to synthesize a series of different proportion polybenzimidazolepolymer materials. And through the FT-IR, thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction and soon some test methods on the performance analysis and structural characterization. Thespecific research work includes the following four parts:1. The fourth part of the paper mainly introduced the way of synthesistetra-amino monomer and diacid monomers and structural characterization oftetra-amino monomer and diacid monomers.2. The fifth part of paper mainly introduced which use3,3’,4,4’-tetra-aminohydrochloride diphenyl sulfone (TADS·THS) and2,6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid (2,6-PDA) and5-sulfonic acid sodium Isophthalic acid (5-SSIPA) under the condition ofnitrogen, as polyphosphoric acid (PPA) as the solvent and ternary copolymerization tosynthesize a series of different ratios of sulfonated polybenzimidazole material, andits performance and structure were analyzed and characterized.3.The sixth part of the paper mainly introduced as3,3’,4,4’-tetra-aminohydrochloride diphenyl sulfone (TADS·THS) and2,6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid (2,6-PDA) and di(4-carboxyl phenyl)-3-trifluoromethylaniline (BCPTFMPA), whichsynthesis of a series of different proportion of polybenzimidazole materials whichcontain the structure of trifluoromethyl pendant group by changing the mole ratio ofdiacid monomers and with solution polymerization, and its performance and structurewere analyzed and characterized at last.4. The seventh part of the paper mainly introduced that using the3,3’,4,4’-tetra-amino hydrochloride diphenyl sulfone (TADS· THS) and2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (2,6-PDA) and1,2-di(4-carboxyl phenoxy) benzene (1,2-PDDBA) to synthesize a series of different molar ratio of phenoxy polybenzimidazole materialsby using solution polymerization, and last its structure and performance wereanalyzed and characterized.
