| Reaction of N-arylpyrroles with n-BuLi followed by the addition of hexafluoro-benzene provided partially fluorinated pyrroloquinoline derivatives(3a~3m), andtheir UV-vis absorption, emission and electrochemical properties were investigated.To our knowledge, the novel compounds3a~3m, containing pyrrole and indole ring,were first synthesized and emmit strong bule fluorescence in both solution and thesolid state. Besides, stacking fashion of product3b and3f are very interesting. |
