Through the survey analysis, open stope method is being used in polymetallic deposits of Shizhuyuan Nonferrous Metal Company. So far, it has been200million m3goaf underground. Open stope method continues to be used below490m the level. According to the existing production scalemining, the number of increments of mined-out area will be250,000m3per year, this is not only difficult to recycle existing pillars and to deal with the existing goaf bonanza of resources caused significant loss and security risks, but also to the future miningcumulative goaf segment of the security of other mineral mining and Transform to mining Opencast mining. Therefore, seeking safe, economical, and reasonable the effective underground continuous mining plan for its mining methods (including the method of pillar drawing and gob handling), is the key to sustainable development of the multi-metal mining Shizhuyuan.Through comparative analysis Shizhuyuan polymetallic deposit geology, the status quo of mining conditions, it’s identified that we must to solve the problem of the continuous mining above490m level pillar drawing and gob handling method to select and the orebody stoping methods of the level below490m. According to the actual situation at home and abroad of the mines of the solution of the problem, determine the successive stages caving by means of the comparative analysis of the level above490m. the extents stage off the mine caving stage stope method are suitable stoping method to orebody below490m.According to the mining method selected, proposed two mining plan of Shizhuyuan polymetallic deposit for underground mining. A caving method of the successive stages of the first stope pillars above the490m level, while addressing its goaf caving stope490m below the level of high-grade ore segment; then use the panel stage, has been collected up to the385m level. In another490m below the level of the first stage stope method stoping385m above the level of high-grade ore body, then use the continuous phase caving stope pillars above the490m level and processing goaf.Finally, through a comprehensive technical and economic comparison of two mining plan, the annual benefit, stoping program is superior. Therefore, it is recommended "caving" program as the polymetallic deposit Shizhuyuan continuous underground mining program.
