| Security is the basic needs of tourism activities and the lifeline of tourismdevelopment. In recent years, the world has take place some significant securityevents, such as foot and mouth disease in the UK, Ocean tsunami in the Indian Ocean,"SARS" and Wenchuan earthquake in China, etc., which has brought unprecedentedimpact to the local tourism industry. Nowadays, with the rapid development ofChina’s tourism industry, tourism security issues have become prominent increasingly.Human has entered the risk society, and the current application of risk assessmenttheory to analyze the industry security has become a new perspective, a new trend. Atpresent, tourism risk security management research is still weak: in the aspect of theliterature, the research of travel security issues are more, but the research of tourismsecurity risk and management issues are less; in the aspect of the research methods,tourism security risk mainly analyzed qualitatively from sociology and managementperspective, and established assessment corresponding indicators and perceptionmetrics.The allocation of tourism resources is opposite to the environment security alongthe Qinghai-Tibet Highway and the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The Qinghai-TibetHighway and the Sichuan-Tibet Highway are the golden tourist route of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the abundant tourism resources and unique sublime landscape along thehighways. However, there are the inherent natural conditions (such as hypoxia, strongultraviolet radiation, etc.) and poor infrastructure which become the limiting factoralong the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and the Sichuan-Tibet Highway in the plateauregion. Therefore, this paper used the basic theory and methods of risk analysis tobuild the tourism security risk analysis indicators system along the Qinghai-TibetHighway and the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, and finally, the two tourist routes wereanalyzed and compared to find out which tourist route’s risk degree is higher as wellas the differences causes. The whole article has three parts specific research results asfollowing:(1)The risk basic theory.①risk basic theoretical aspects: expounding the risk basic theory, and on the basis of risk theory for reference, getting the risk basic modelof the tourism security risk analysis along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and theSichuan-Tibet Highway.②research methods: firstly, building a risk indicator systemand determining the weights, including evaluation layer (3aspects: fatalness,physical explore and security capabilities), indicator layer (15indicators);thendetermine the buffer of the two highways and the scope of time research; then,comparative analysis methods include three aspects: the result figure, area and length;Finally, using online travel notes validate physical explore result of the risk basicmodel.(2)The tourism security risk analysis and comparison along the Qinghai-TibetHighway and the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. On the one hand, the result figures'sdistribution of15indicators describe and compare; On the other hand, the resultsfigure, area and length of evaluation layer,vulnerability and comprehensive riskdegree layer in five aspects were analyzed and compared.(3)validation analysis of online travel notes. Selecting five aspects:thevocabulary, the number of accommodation points, the number of scenic spots, traveltime and travel way.Finally, the paper got the following4preliminary conclusions:(1)From the point of view of four aspects:fatalness degree,physical exposuredegree,vulnerability degree and security capabilities.The risk degree of along theSichuan-Tibet Highway is higher than along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and the highdegree sections as well.(2)From the point of view of the risk degree.Along the Qinghai-Tibet Highwayrisk degree is on the low side,along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway is on the highside.So,the along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway risk degree is higher than along theQinghai-Tibet Highway,we can consider along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway as a highrisk degree tourist routes;The distribution of the high risk degree section along theSichuan-Tibet highway is wider than and more concentrated than along theQinghai-Tibet Highway, there are two sections: Lhasa city and Shannan region of theintersection between the Lhasa River Valley and the Brahmaputra region,Basu County-Markam county section in the Hengduan Mountains,the space difference of theformer distribution is bigger,and the latter distribution is wider and moreconcentrated;Medium or higher risk degree sections are almost scattered distributionalong the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, but along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway distributes Sichuan western Plateau and Tibet Plateau of Kangding County west mainly as wellas the high risk degree sections are a large area of concentrated distribution.(3)From the point of view of the comparison of the risk degree and scenic spots.Abundant tourism resources is opposite to the high risk of tourism security along theQinghai-Tibet Highway and the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, strengthening the tourismsecurity risk management is imperative.(4)From the point of view of online travel notes.Scenic spots along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway are richer than the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, but along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway consumes to much more time than the Qinghai-Tibet Highway,especially, the Tibet Plateau sections along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway,not only istime-consuming,but also is more difficult. Therefore, along the Qinghai-TibetHighway is suitable for some tourists who want to experience the plateau scenery, andalong the Sichuan-Tibet Highway is suitable for the courage young to challenge. Inaddition, the self-driving is the preferred in the travel way, but riding along theSichuan-Tibet Highway and train+other way along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway totravel is also the best choice. |
