Rare earth alloy material has become a hot topic in the field of materials scienceresearch and great concerns are given by national scientific workers.In the field of high-techmaterials, rare earth alloy materials mainly include rare earth permanent magnet materials andother rare earth new materials, such as magnetic optical storage materials, rare earth giantmagnetostrictive materials.Magnetic material has long been considered as the important pillar of the national defenseand the foundation, in recent years, with the rapid development of computer, electronics andinformation industry, the higher and higher demands for magnetic recording materials, no matteron the quantity, quality and speed are proposed, which is promoting the extensive research ofmagnetic materials. And function of rare earth magnetic thin films because of their excellentcomprehensive performance is favored in the field of materials, with the further study of the thinfilm preparation technology, rare earth magnetic functional thin films have been widely used ininformation storage, data processing, aerospace and military and other fields. Magneticmaterials commonly use preparation methods, physical methods and so on. Compared withother methods,the method of electroless plating electroplating solution is easy to control, easy tooperate, safe environmental protection, low cost, the solution is easy recycling, simpleequipment and so on, so the electroless plating of magnetic coating prepared is more and morefavored by science and technology workers, also more and more widely in industrial application.The electroless plating from non-aqueous solution at room temperature is due to the metalsalt or organic solvent chemical plating solution of complex and reducing agent can form auniform on the surface of the substrate that through special processing of metal layer. For the theresearch of electroless plating from non-aqueous solution in our country is less basic at the blankstage, the electroless plating from non-aqueous solution has been relatively slow, but with theprogress of science and technology constantly in recent years and the market demand for specialfunctional materials become the research hot spot. Will the technology of electroless platingfrom non-aqueous solution and the electronic structure of rare earth elements has unique4felectronic shell, the preparation has high corrosion resistance, high coating evenly, soft magneticproperties of electroless plating of rare earth alloy, and its preparation method is simple and canbe continuous preparation, low cost and low pollution to the environment, etc, the mechanical,optical information function materials, aerospace, magneto optical devices, petrochemical, autoand amorphous soft magnetic materials and other fields of technology has been widely applied.This paper mainly uses the method of electroless plating from non-aqueous solution toprepare rare earth (Sm, Tb) alloy at room temperature, concrete is investigated the addition ofrare earth (Sm, Tb) coating deposition rate, chemical composition, surface morphology,structure, magnetic and the influence of different annealing temperature on the structure, theinfluence of the magnetic properties of coating. Use of low vacuum scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), magnetometer vibrating samplemagnetometer (VSM) as well as the vacuum tube furnace annealing heat treatment to thecoating surface morphology, chemical composition and structure, magnetic detection andanalysis, the results show that:1、 The preparation process of rare earth (Sm, Tb) alloy with electroless plating fromnon-aqueous solution at room temperature, the best measurement of rare earth added to3g/L;The adding of rare earth (Sm, Tb) does not change the structure of the alloy coating, areamorphous structure, has significantly improved the surface morphology of coating, makecoating material grain refining, improve the soft magnetic performance of the coating.2、Annealing temperature on the coating has a great influence on the structure and properties ofthe alloy coating is at the beginning of the400℃change structure of crystal type, and with theannealing temperature increaseing gradually from amorphous to crystalline transition; With theincrease of temperature, the magnetic of the coating alloy after400℃heat treatment haschanged obviously.
