According to the property of quaternization, a-C-N-C-covalent cross bond was formed by chemical reactions between N,N-dimethyl tertiary amine-containing polymer and halogen of halogenated butyl rubber.This can make halogenated butyl rubber become a kind of thermo-reversible covalent crosslinking polymer which has fine properties at ordinary temperature and thermal re-processibilty at high temperature.The purpose of this research is the preparation of thermo-reversibility crosslinker of halogenated butyl rubber, investigations were done as follows:(1) Thermo-reversibility crosslinker of halogenated butyl rubber was prepared with the DMAEMA as monomer. Suitable polymerization was studied and the content of tertiary amine was tested.(2) Vulcanization and repetitive processing of halogenated butyl rubber with self-made tertiary amine-containing polymer as crosslinker were researched. Through characterization test of gel content and mechanical property, the best vulcanization technology and formula were determined. (3) Thermo-reversible crosslinker was prepared with the final emulsion of industry SBN as raw material. Vulcanization and repetitive processing of halogenated butyl rubber with this kind of crosslinker were studied. Through characterization test of gel content and mechanical property, the best vulcanization technology and formula were determined. |
