Compared with butyl rubber (IIR), the halogenated butyl rubber has high reactivity and is excellent in co-crosslinking performance and cohesive properties with unsaturated rubbers, and is therefore widely used in isolated rubber supports and tire products. In this paper, the application of chlorinated butyl rubber (CIIR) in isolation bearing and the improvement of bromide butyl rubber (BIIR) composites for tire innerliner were studied. A series of NR /CIIR composites were prepared. The effects of NR / CIIR ratio, addition method of NR vulcanization system, compatibilizer and so on on the microstructure, vulcanization characteristics, physical and mechanical properties, dynamic mechanical properties of NR / CIIR composites Impact.The dispersion of organic montmorillonite (OMMT) in BIIR matrix and its effect on the air tightness of composite materials were studied, and the application and formulation of BIIR in tire external film were optimized.Specific results are as follows:(1) In this paper, different natural rubber / chlorinated butyl rubber composites with different proportions were prepared. It was found that the addition of chlorinated butyl rubber in natural rubber could significantly improve the effective damping temperature range of the materials. When chlorinated butyl rubber was 30 or more, the effective damping temperature range of 50 ? or more, the loss of the peak position has not changed, the size has declined. From the microscopic image and physical mechanical properties can be seen, the natural rubber and chlorinated butyl rubber compatibility is poor, in order to broaden the NR / CIIR composite material use, need to solve its poor compatibility problem. Through the WAXD test of Shanghai light source, it was found that NR / CIIR composites had the phenomenon of double drawing crystallization.(2) The use of natural rubber vulcanization system in reverse to the chlorinated butyl rubber, and then blended in proportion. This method can effectively improve the natural rubber / chlorinated butyl rubber composite material co-crosslinking density. When the amount of inversion was 50% and 70%, the mechanical properties of the composites were significantly higher than that of the vulcanized rubber when the vulcanizate was 100% and normal bonding. With the increase of the content of chlorinated butyl rubber, effective damping factor (tan ?? 0.3) also increases, and when the chlorinated butyl rubber is more than 30 parts, the effective damping temperature field reaches 50 ? or more.(3)In this paper, three different molecular weight isobutylene-isoprene(PIB-b-PIP) block copolymers were used as compatibilizers for natural rubber/ chlorinated butyl rubber composites. It was found that after adding compatibilizer, the Interface layer of the material becomes thicker blurred. It shows that the compatibility between the natural rubber and the chlorinated butyl rubber has been significantly improved. The molecular weight of the compatibilizer is within a certain range. Mixed material damping performance has a better effect, too low or too high will not make the material damping performance to achieve the best level.(4) Addition of organic montmorillonite in brominated butyl rubber can effectively improve the air tightness of the material. When adding 1 phr organic montmorillonite, the permeability coefficient of the composite material decreases by 15.1%. In the natural rubber / butadiene rubber, the addition of brominated butyl rubber to the composite material can effectively improve the heat aging resistance of the material.
