The Preparation Of The High Meltstrength Polypropyene And The Research Of The Foam From It

The object of this paper is to prepare the high melt strength polypropylene with the general grade PP of our company, and to make foam with it. We gained the high melt strength polypropylene by the means of reactive extrusion using twin-screw extruder.The melt strength of it is approaching to HMS-130,the product of Borealis. We compared the properties of it with HMS-130by GPC、 DSC、 ARES、 extension-rheometery,it is concluded that our hmspp can improve the foamability of PP effectively. After that, we gained the foam PP stick with density35kg/m3by foaming it with supercritical fluid through a extruder, and the tempreture.pressure.the capacity of gas injection has been studied.
