A facile preparation of PS/GO and PS/GP spheres by solution blending was developed. The monodisperse PS templates in size of280nm were prepared by polyvinylpyrrolidone stabilized emulsion polymerization. GO sheets were coated on PS spheres by solution blending in water to prepare PS/GO spheres, and then GO sheets were reduced by hydrazine hydrate to obtain PS/GP spheres. The impacts of PS templates, amount of GO dispersion, concentration of GO dispersion, dropping rate and reaction temperature on result of coating were investigated. The amount of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) in the PS templates was decreased, size diatribution of the obtained PS spheres and PS/GO spheres was uneven. While the concentration of GO dispersion has no effect on the morphology of PS/GO spheres. With increasing the amount of PVP in the PS templates and dropping rate, the morphology of the core-shell spheres was rougher, and emerged untight and dissociative GO and GP sheets. Also with increasing the amount of GO dispersion, the thickness of the shell increased. The reaction temperature should be controlled at70℃to get the core-shell spheres with good morphology.GO sheets, GP sheets, PS/GO and PS/GP spheres were used to modify glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to investigate electrochemical catalytic activity to Ks[Fe(CN)6] and the PS/GP spheres modified GCE was better, which was similar to the GP modified GCE. The electrochemical response of dopamine (DA) on the PS/GP spheres modified GCE was investigated. In the optimization test conditions (electrolyte pH, concentration potential, concentration time and amount of PS/GP spheres), the electrochemical behavior of DA was researched and the range of DA determination was0.1~0.9μmol/L and1.0~20.0μmol/L, and the detection limit was20nmol/L, and the electrode has strong anti-interference ability...
