China is rich in fluorite associated scheelite resources, valuable minerals in this deposits are usually have complex components。Scheelite and fluorite often closely coexisting and fine-grained disseminated with various sulfide minerals and undesirable calcite, which causes the flotation separation difficulty between scheelite, fluorite and calcite. Traditional scheelite preferential flotation goes against subsequently fluorite beneficiation, fluorite recovery rate is low. Aiming at this problem, this paper bases on project "experimental study on new process of scheelite fluorite mixed flotation", by using single mineral tests, zeta potential measurements, IR spectroscopy, actual ore flotation test et al, evaluating the possibility and feasibility of this mixed flotation idea on separation of scheelite, fluorite and calcite. The results are as follows:Different from conventional scheelite alkaline condition preferential flotation process, scheelite and fluorite directly mixed flotation under natural pulp pH value(pH≈7)is feasible by selecting reasonable flotation reagent system and technological process. Mechanism research shows that, using water glass as inhibitor, when pH value ranges from6to7.5, scheelite and fluorite still keeping good floatability, most silicate gangue minerals like quartz, part of calcite can be effectively inhibited. Moreover, choosing natural pulp pH value not only saves reagent cost, but also is conductive to the regulation of subsequent flotation pulp pH value.When calcite content is high in ore, adopting scheelite fluorite mixed flotation process, calcite in the mixed concentrate often gets enriched, this will affect the subsequent separation work between scheelite and fluorite, especially when high grade fluorite concentrate is in demand. Aiming at this problem, the paper introduces reverse flotation decalcify flotation process. A highly efficient inhibitor ZP was devloped to inhibit scheelite and fluorite, and reverse floating calcite, thus rich the purpose of removing the gangue minerals especially calcite from the mixed concentrate. Meanwhile, this also provides a new reference idea in dressing single type scheelite or fluorite ore which have high calcite content.According to the ore properties, by using scheelite fluorite mixed flotation, mixed concentrate flotation separation new technology, for specific process is scheelite fluorite mixed flotation-mixed concentrate purification by reverse flotation-scheelite flotation-fluorite gravity separation from tailings of scheelite flotation by shaking table-scheelite heating cleaning process scheme, good classification index was obtained. When0.54%WO3,25.24%CaF2,11.76%CaCO3in raw ore, scheelite product WO3content is30.54%, recovery rate is of76.24%. Fluorite ore obtained two types of products:a high grade fluorite concentrate with CaF293.10%, recovery rate42.32%, and a low grade fluorite concentrate with CaF281.65%, recovery rate37.44%. Compared with fluorite recovery rate of field production, which is less than40%, total fluorite recovery rate obtained by using this process scheme is great increased.
