Since China’s reform and opening up, its development is very quickly, but the accelerating pace of industrialization and the resulting energy security give rise to environmental pollution problems. At present, China’s import of282million tons petroleum every year and the annual emissions of CO2is as high as more than100million tons which is the highest country in the world. At the same time, there are lots of biomass from agricultural and forestry in our country each year, even though deducting all sorts of use, it is remains about more than1billion tons. However, because of the lack of the method that economic and efficient using technology, most of them are discarded.Biomass flash pyrolysis by oxygen isolation and medium temperature can product bio-oil which would replace petroleum as a clean fuel. It is also one of the most optimal method in utilizing agriculture and forestry waste that is becoming more and more attention by the people. Until now, it is using solid as heat carrier to heat biomass in the reactor of the high speed in an airtight oxygen insulation, so that the solid heat carrier would abrasion the instrument. On the other hand the altitude of heating and heat carrier device will cause the entire device height and high cost. In addition, the heat carrier would wear and failure after a specified period that is an important cost factor.According to the above problem, this paper puts forward the biomass fast pyrolysis oil production in the process of non-condensable gas as heat carrier method innovating to design a new biomass pyrolysis reactor with non-condensable gas heating type, which solve the problem of that wear and tear instrument and the height of equipment. Putting the biomass powder imported reactor with non-condensable gas heat carrier by using a specially designed non-condensable gas fire tube type heating furnace to rise the temperature of non-condensable gas to pyrolysis temperature, result in the biomass flash pyrolysis under the condition of gas heat carrier. The papers studied the non-condensable gas heating design theory and method of the biomass pyrolysis reactor and fire tube type non-condensable gas heating furnace, by using the FLUENT software to study the fluid motion in the biomass pyrolysis reactor which non-condensable gas as heat carrier.The research shows that with the heated non-condensable gas instead of solid heat carrier method is feasible; Based on the gas heat carrier of non-condensable gas heating type of biomass pyrolysis reactor is possible; Compared with the bio-oil product equipment using solid heat carrier technology, adopted the method and theory in this paper the equipment total height can be reduced to17by28~30m, equivalent to about40%. The height decrease can due to a lack of security device and make the equipment maintenance more convenient. In addition, the study also found that with the increasing of the input material particle size reactor operating speed will increase. Additional its appearance will changes from the "short" to "thin".
