Coupling Relationship Between Urbanization And Ecological Environment Of Shanxi Province

Since the reform and opening-up and economic development, urbanization process has been accelerating development period, gradually towards a healthy and comprehensive development direction; Social wealth accumulation and the people’s living standards have improved significantly. But the rapid development of urbanization and industrialization process has some negative effects on the ecological environment. Therefore, appear to the development of urbanization and ecological environment uncoordinated phenomenon.Since1978China’s economic system transition from planned to socialist market economic. The rapid development of economy accelerates the urbanization process in China, to the economic, social, and cultural and people’s quality of life had a profound impact. Rapid economic development, however, the extensive development pattern caused deterioration of ecological environment, makes the development of urbanization and ecological environment quality has greatly contrast. Therefore, research the coupling relationship between urbanization and ecological environment, help to coordination between urbanization and ecological environment, which not synchronized development.First, this article from the domestic and foreign research background of urbanization and ecological environment, and analysis of the concept of urbanization and ecological environment, the related concepts and basic theory to infer the basic definition and discussed. Using qualitative and quantitative analysis, combining the statistical and econometric analysis, uses the method of coordination degree model to evaluate the coupling relationship between city and ecological environment in Shanxi Province.The first chapter introduces the research background of urbanization and ecological environment, purpose, significance and research progress both at home and abroad in Shanxi Province, this paper expounds the contents and methods of research.The second chapter defines the basic meaning of urbanization and ecological environment, and made a detail; the chapter summarizes the theory of urbanization and ecological environment.The third chapter from four aspects introduces the general situation of Shanxi Province; it includes the geographical location, climate characteristics, and resource and soil type; from two prospects sums up the development of urbanization and ecological environment of Shanxi Province. According to the status quo summed up the problems about urbanization and ecological environment. The fourth chapter constructs the evaluation index system of urbanization and ecological environment of Shanxi Province, the quantitative analysis of the level of urbanization and ecological environment development, and established the coordination degree model, and comprehensive analysis of the coordinated relationship between the two.The fifth chapter from three aspects put forward some advices; it includes the harmonious urbanization process, strengthening the construction of ecological city and strengthening the coordination development platform, in order to promote the coordinate development of urbanization and ecological environment. In the end, it made a summary on the above conclusion.
