Landfill leachate is a kind of wastewater which composition is complex and pollutantconcentration is very high, once infiltration may cause serious damage to the environment.Yunnan Province is rich in tourism resources; ecological environment is fragile in many areas.During the "Twelfth Five-Year", Yunnan began to promote landfill leachate treatment worksin the province of cities and counties.Currently, there are many kinds of landfill leachate treatment technology, eachtechnology both advantages and shortcomings. The purpose of this paper is providing areference for the relevant departments in the decision-making process through objective andcomprehensive analysis of all treatment technology. This paper is based on practice process,through collect data and literature search to summarized and analyzed treatment process,advantages and disadvantages of three typical leachate treatment technologies (TwoA/O+Fenton+BAF technology, pretreatment+MVC evaporate+ion exchange technology,pretreatment+two DT-RO technology) in Yunnan Province. The main conclusions are asfollows:Firstly, Two A/O+Fenton+BAF technology is a combination of physical and chemicalleachate treatment technology, the core technology is the deep oxidation systems break downrecalcitrant organics. This technology all steps are conventional wastewater treatmentoperations, operating less demanding of techniques, only need General operating environment;the effluent quality can meet the standards stability, and all scale can be applied. But thistechnology requires microbial domestication in the stage of pretreatment, and affected bychanges in external environmental; and during the treatment process the utilization rate ofchemical reagents is not high, it will increase investment and increase the system operatingpressure.Secondly, the pretreatment+MVC evaporate+ion exchange technology is a physicaltechnology, and don’t need biochemical treatment equipment, MVC evaporate system iswidely used in leachate treatment fields. This technology has good adaptability, andprocessing effect is not affected by changes in external environment, and stably. The MVCevaporation system process is simple, water quality is better than other technology. The problem of fouling is serious during the evaporation system running, and reduces the stabilityof system. Moreover the evaporation system power consumption. Pollutants concentration ofconcentrated liquid is very high, may cause serious damage to the environment.Thirdly, the pretreatment+two DT-RO membrane technology widely used in aerospace,drinking water treatment and wastewater treatment, and the core of technology is to usetwo-stage DT-RO membranes. The technology is high degree of modularity, process is simple,and don’t need biochemical treatment equipment; the operating pressure can be flexiblyadjusted according to changes in water quality. But the problem of membrane fouling isserious, and affects running effect and water quality. Moreover, frequent replacement ofmembranes increases the operating costs; and pollutants concentration of concentrated liquidis very high, may cause serious damage to the environment.
