| The so-called green chemistry was the thing which can reduce the hurt to theenvironment. It also referred to the selection of raw materials, catalyst and solvent ontoxic, which used high selectivity and high conversion rate to eliminate or reduce theby-products and wasted to conduct the environmentally friendly synthesis reaction.The purpose was to develop pollution coefficient decrease of unit product, toadvance synthetic method and technology of the least resources and energyconsumption through the synthesis reaction and the new method of preparation. Fromthe perspective of synthesis reaction, the environmental pollution would be eliminatedor reduced from the origin. At the present stage, the green chemistry had becomea hotspot and frontier of chemistry research, and which was one of the importantdirections of chemical development in twenty-first century.An ionic liquid was expected to replace the traditional organic solventand catalyst. It was used to a new green solvent and catalyst, filed with the need ofgreen chemistry, green material or green catalyst. The green chemistry had gonethrough nearly10years of road. The ionic liquid played an important role and theionic liquid was also a symbol of green chemistry.Bisphenol A was one kind of veryimportant chemical raw materials which is mainly used for the productionof polycarbonate, epoxy resin, polysulfone resin, a poly-phenylene ether resin,unsaturated polyester resins and other polymer materials can also be used forproduction of plasticizer, flame retardant, antioxidant, thermal stability, anti-agingagent of rubber, pesticide, paint dye and other fine chemical products.In this paper, the author taked quaternary ammonium type ionic liquid catalyticsynthesis of Bisphenol A as a model. Used this new environment-friendly solventand catalyst material to get important chemical raw material Bisphenol A.Comparing with the traditional catalyst AlCl3with the control variable method to getthe best reaction condition, got the productive rate reach up to88.7%of the highquality products of Bisphenol A and overcame the disadvantages of traditionalcatalysts for synthesis of bisphenol A, such as the catalyst was not easy to reduce, poor strength of the catalyst, poor thermal stability, not long-term preservation, theimpact on the environment, not easy cleaned. Using ionic liquid as catalyst notonly has high yield, less by-products,catalytic better strength, but also good thermalstability,simple operation, friendly to environment. |
