Polyvinyl fluoride film (ab PVF) has a lot of excellent properties and can be used widely. At present it can’t be produced in the world except USA, so we are looking forward to studying a novel process to produce this film in China firstly. In this paper we used the process of blow molding to produce PVF film and study on the each process of blow molding, in addition, we added titanium dioxide into the PVF resin and TG, DSC, MFR, etc testing instrument were used to study of the effect of titanium dioxide on properties of PVF resin and PVF film.The result showed that in the process of blow molding, butyrolactone was used as latent solvent and mass fraction was about50%. Latent solvent and PVF resin should be heated when they were mixed, and then stewed for several hours. Screw compression ratio was3:1, and processing temperature was180℃. After adding titanium dioxide, the thermal stability and decomposition temperature of PVF resin reduced remarkably.It can lead to the descent of melt beginning temperature, and affect the crystallinity of resin. The melt flow rate of resin dropped, the torque and viscosity increased, which affected processing in a certain extent. The properties of PVF film also can be affected by adding titanium dioxide. The tensile strength and tear strength increased at certain titanium dioxide content. But if the content of titanium dioxide is overmuch, the dispersibility of titanium dioxide in PVF film turned bad and the phenomena of agglomerate appeared obviously which can be observed by SEM distinctly. This caused the tensile strength and tear strength decreasing, and didn’t advantage for improve the mechanical properties of PVF film. In the processing of adding titanium dioxide,the percentage of breaking-elongation of PVF film always decreased, the dielectric property of PVF film could be improved and dielectric constant could be increased. In the low frequency, dissipation factor increased, but it could be close to the pure PVF film in the high frequency.
