From the point of molecule structure, we synthesize a novel surfactant RSR. It can not only be used as a surfactant to intercalate montmorillonite, and also as a flocculation. On the base of measuring the CEC of montmorillonite, The basal space of montmorillonite intercalated with RSR will be3.96nm when we add the amount of surfactant intercalated as much as2CEC.We use there different kinds of methods to prepare the SBR/Mont namocomposite, that is to say, mechanical mixture, melting-intercalation, latex-flocculation.It is identified that the latex-flocculation is the best method to preparing the SBR/Mont namocomposite in the three kinds of preparing methods. The extending intensity of SBR/Mont nanocomposite prepared with gemini-surfactant RSR to flocculate the latex is improved almost50%comparing to flocculate with acid, and its stress is improved also50%. Comparing to the preparing methods of mechanical mixture and melting-intercalation, the extending intensity of SBR/Mont nanocomposite prepared with RSR flocculation can be improved almost several times.
