Twist dills is commonly hole processing tools in mechanical manufacturingprocessing.The geometric Angle and shape of the twist drill that choice of whether reasonablewhich plays a very important role to improve the performance of drilling and cuttingefficiency.For flank surface of cutting tool sharpening that determines the geometry of thedrill point and point of view.Many domestic and foreign scholars have devoted to the study ofnew grinding method. At present, the cone sharpening method have been widely used.Conesharpening method is divided into inner cone sharpening method and the outer conesharpening method.Starting from the existing inner cone sharpening method, puts forward anew method of sharpening——new type internal cone sharpening method.Summarize on the existing theory of the cone sharpening method, combining with thecharacteristics of the cone sharpening method came up with the new inner cone sharpeningmethod in which the form exercise of grinding wheel.Established the mathematical expressionof the flank surface of drill with sharpening parameters. Analyzed the relationship betweenthe parameters in the new type cone sharpening method. TO parameters are optimized withmatlab software.For different diameter of axle of twist drill best grinding parameters is given,which facilitate the adjustment of the machine tool position during the process of grinding.According to the grinding wheel form of exercise in the new style cone sharpeningmethod, determine the structure of the grinder.And used UG software constructed the3dentity modeling for the various parts of grinder,use the function of UG’s assemble,Assembled virtual prototype of new style interior.Use the simulation function ofADAMS,dynamics simulation for the new style cone sharpening machine To verify therationality of the design. theoretically realize twist drill grinding.
