Simulation techniques are used in the design, verification and analysis of assemblyshop’s logistics solutions. With running the simulation model, simulation techniques canevaluate rationality of the scheme, design and suggest to avoid the risks arising fromscheme implementation and reduce the costs. In this paper, SCL (Simulation ControlLanguage) simulation language is used to edit complex logistics to complete the modelingand study of stoker assembly plant production logistics system, with the software platformof QUEST. The results showed that SCL language can effectively match simulation modelto the actual logistics processes.The system features and analytical methods of assembly plant production logisticssystems are described.The modeling process of assembly plant logistics systems isanalyzed under QUEST. Then, QUEST software is used to establish the geometric modelof stoker workshop and SCL language is used to edit logistics logic. The visual modelingof stoker workshop logistics system can be completed.Stoker assembly plant production logistics system would be simulated after the systembe modeling. The basic concepts and purposes of simulation are discussed. Simulationprocess of assembly plant logistics system is summarized under QUEST. The simulationof stoker assembly plant logistics system is completed. The result data is analyzed to findthe unreasonable production line based on logistics model simulation.With the simulation of stoker assembly plant logistics system, the reasonable logisticssystem is found. Product capacity, transport equipment capacity factor and stationutilization of stoker assembly line can be improved based on the improvement scheme ofstoker workshop logistics. Under compared logistics data, the effectiveness of theimprovement scheme can be verified, namely, product productivity is improved, waste ofresources is reduced and productivity is increased.
