The arrangement of the facilities plays an important role in the productionlogistics system. The system layout planning (SLP) is an effective method. Throughthe enterprise production processing and the analysis of the material flow rate, usinglogistic relation and work units related figure, we can get reasonable arrangement,then make the operation of the production logistics fluent, so as to improve the wholeproduction system of economic efficiency. Simulation technology simulation facilitiesplanning program, can effectively avoid enterprise alter the existing facilities layoutwith all kinds of risk; can be in the enterprise existing facilities layout optimizationbased on improved. So it is very important for the enterprise to use facilities layoutand simulation technology to improve the efficiency.In this paper, we put on the oil casing plant of the DL pipe enterprise’sproduction logistic system for study, through on-site practical research to understandthe process of oil casing workshop, the workshop logistics overview, the layout of theworkshop. Through field visits, the related logistics system is collected. Through theway of fully analyzed of the status of the workshop, the reasons that affect the smoothof the plant production logistics can be collected. The work is based on the SLPfacility planning analysis, through comprehensive analysis of the logistics system andthe unit position relevant diagrams, and additional analysis of the relevant factors,through drawing the improvement layout scheme, the integrated use ofcomprehensive evaluation and cost evaluation to evaluate the two programs.We get that: the Option I (74.8points) is significantly better than Option II (54.9points); Cost evaluation showed that the Option I (carrying amount:1332) issignificantly lower than Option II (carrying amount:1534.4); Comprehensivecomparison shows that the Option I is better. Finally, through the workshop layout optimization, we use the Flexsimsimulation software workshop modeling and simulation on the production line to findthe actual operation of the process plant production logistics bottlenecks. Thus we canavoid unnecessary cost of waste brought back facility layout, improve productionprocesses, increase productivity, and achieve the purpose of improving the yield ofcorporate.
