In the boring process to box-type parts in bulk whose technology is complicated andprocess is various, in order to meet the requirements of processing technology andproduction takt, and ensure high machining precision and production efficiency, designinghigh-precision, reliable and stable control system is necessary. Combining thetechnological requirements of tank parts and boring processing characteristics of motioncontrol, this paper studied and designed the corresponding control system of productionline.The main contents are summarized as follows:Introduced the production line technology content, technological process and maintechnical indexes, analyzed its technological characteristics, combined with thecharacteristics of boring movement control, obtained the functional requirements ofcontrol system and the motion flow of production line;According to the requirements of function and motion flow of control system,combined with the characteristics of the commonly used control system in industrialproduction and design experience, put forward two sets of feasible control system scheme,analyzed and compared the two sets of scheme in working performance and economic cost,determined the tank boring production line control system scheme based on PLC;Analyzed the composition of control system hardware, chose the specific modelaccording to the actual functional requirements of hardware and the communication modebetween equipments of control system on the basis of understanding the characteristics ofcommonly used communication, determined the hardware scheme of multi-level structuresystem and designed electric control circuit of the system;Adopted the idea of modularization to develop the control system software, PLCprogram, touch screen program and VC program are included, PLC program realized thelogic control and motion control, touch screen program provided a good human-computerinteraction, had the effect of condition monitoring and parameter setting; VC programplayed an role on measured data show and task management;Studied deeply the specific CNC functions required in the process of machiningsuch as the variable process path and a wide range of speed regulation and implementedthem in the system, which improved the security, flexibility and accuracy of the systemeffectively; Conducted debugging based on the principle of partial first, overall after,modified configuration parameters and servo motor PID parameters, optimized the controlsystem software and hardware, improved boring accuracy and rapidity and stability of thecontrol system.The production line desiged is put into use, the roughness of tank hole processed, sizetolerance, form tolerance and production takt all meet the index requirements, and thecontrol system has great rapidity, accuracy, stability and security.
