| With sustained and rapid development of China’s high energy consumption industries such as iron and steel, building materials, energy saving becomes the focus of people’s attention, the new energy-saving materials development has become an important research direction of scientific research personnel. The calcined α-Al2O3as raw material, foam gel preparation of corundum mullite insulation refractories. Study four different coagulant coagulating effect on silica sol, four kinds of different foaming properties foaming agent, foaming agent and compatibility of the coagulant, silica sol dosage effect on body strength and linear shrinkage rate, the sintering temperature on the sample liner change rate and the room temperature compressive strength influence. Bauxite is the main raw material in the preparation of corundum mullite insulation materials, preparation of medium temperature furnace heat radiating element is applied.The results show that, coagulant should be treated with ammonium chloride; foaming agent should adopt a foaming effect when1g Luoyang1#foaming agent with water into60g, which is60-fold dilution of the best; with25wt%silica as a gelling agent,0.3wt%ammonium chloride as the gelling effect of the sample is preferably obtained coagulant; the sintering temperature on the sample liner change rate and have effects compressive strength, with the increase of the sintering temperature, sample line change rate increased, compressive strength decreases gradually; The sample is1300-1450℃×4h sintering at1450℃×8h heavy fire, the reheating liner change rate decreases with the increase of firing temperature. The experiment has been prepared by the bulk density of about0.8g/cm3, the compressive strength of about8-10MPa corundum-mullite refractory insulation. By XRD diffraction analysis:The products of the main phase is corundum and mullite.On this basis, medium temperature heat radiating element was prepared,which could make energy saving for the furnace. |
