Tubular particleboard is a model kind of artificial board.Compared with ordinaryparticleboard.Tublar particleboard has many advantages,such as light weight, good effect of heatinsulation,high utilization rate of raw materials,good sound absorption performance and othercharacteristics.Tubular particleboard is mainly used to make door cores or some office partitions.With the continuous experiment and practice,the production technology of tubular particleboardhas been become more and more maturer.Thublar particleboard will have more widedevelopment space and a better market prosects due to raw material savings and use of theproducds.The processing factors selected in this study included resin content, extruding temperatureand extruding head frequency. In order to determined the optimal production process paramenters,the tubular particleboard process and properties were stuided. These date can provide a theoreticalreference for the tubular particleboard manufacturers.Through the experimental study,drew the following conclusions:1.It’s advantageous to the static bendingstrength,the absorbent thickness expansion rate andthe length and size changing rate with the increasing of resin content.But against formaldehydeemission and the rate of extruding speed. When the resin content was5%,tubular particleboardhas the maximum intensity. It’s good for the static bending strength,the absorbent thicknessexpansion rate, the length and size changing rate, formaldehyde emission and the rate ofextruding speed with the increasing of extruding temperature. When extrusion temperature was160℃,the absorbent thickness expansion rate is the lowest. A statistical analysis showed thatthere was a significant difference in extrusion head frequency between static bending strengthand the internal bond strength was observed.The length and size changing rate, formaldehydeemission and the speed of production increases with the increasing of the extrusion headfrequency.The absorbent thickness expansion rate became minimum when the extrusion headfrequency was2Hz. The result showed that the optimal manufacturing parameters for producingtubular particleboard were resin content5%,extruding temperature160℃,extruding frequency2Hz.2. No significant changes in temperature and humidity conditions of the static bendingstrength and the internal bond strength of tubular particleboard. In the high temperature and highhumidity condition,the static bending strength and the internal bond strength showed slightlydecreasing trend: the static bending strength decreased by3.89%,and the internal bond strengthdecreased by5.71%. In the low temperature and low humidity condition,the static bendingstrength and the internal bond strength showed slightly increasing trend: the static bendingstrength increased by3.43%,and the internal bond strength increased by4.28%.There is significant changes in temperature and humidity conditions of the static bending strength and theinternal bond strength of tubular particleboard.In the high temperature and high humiditycondition, the absorbent thickness expansion rate and the length and size changing rate showedobvious decreasing trend: the absorbent thickness expansion rate decreased by16.77%;and thelength and size changing rate decreased by16.25%. In the low temperature and low humiditycondition, the absorbent thickness expansion rate and the length and size changing rate showedobvious increasing trend: the absorbent thickness expansion rate increased by16.98%;and thelength and size changing rate increased by16.25%.3.With the increasing of the thickness, the absorbent thickness expansion rate and the lengthand size changing rate decreased. No significant changes in the thickness of the static bendingstrength and the internal bond strength of tubular particleboard.When tubular particleboard isused for door core, we should do the best to decrease the absorbent thickness expansion rate andthe length and size changing rate.Comprehensive consideration, it was an ideal choice to use thethicker tubular particleboard.
