With the increasingly high demand for modern metal cutting efficiency andprocessing quality, high-speed cutting as a novel processing technology to overcome thedeficiencies of the traditional cutting its unique advantages and advanced to replaceconventional machining of new technology and the future direction of the machiningtechnology development.Conventional metal cutting theory-based analysis to study the failure mechanismof change in higher cutting speed metal cutting, on the basis of the failure mechanism ofhigh-speed cutting metal cutting process, cutting force, cutting heat generation andconduction analysis, and establish a correlation equation, using the finite elementsoftware to simulate high-speed cutting temperature distribution on the chip and tool, aswell as the different cutting speed cutting temperature variation. Study on the basis ofthe analysis of the conventional metal cutting tool wear in the form of high-speedcutting, the cutting speed and cutting temperature of cutting tool wear and damage.Targeted by the mechanism and characteristics of the above study high-speedcutting, suitable for high-speed cutting tool and machine tool for high-speed cutting toolmaterial, geometry parameters cutter body structure and cutting process parameters, andhigh-speed cutting machine tools structure and performance requirements of the specificanalysis. On the basis of the combination of high-speed cutting tools parameters,analysis of the structure of the cutting speed and tool machined surface roughness,residual stress and hardening.Finally, the high-speed milling, for example, in the analysis of the feed rate andcutting speed on the cutter cutting force, the basis of the cutting efficiency and tool lifeand machining quality impact on the cutting speed optimization analysis, and also beenrelated optimization parameters and structure of the cutting tool.
