High speed manufacturing is gradual becoming the main cutting technology, how to select the tool and confirm the process parameter and cutting technology strategy are the very important in the high speed manufacturing. These not only affect the tooling efficiency but also affect the tooling quality.There has not invariable setting mode of selecting tool and cutting process parameter in high speed manufacturing, and there has not practice database which face to tooling to reference either. So my research fields mainly focus on selecting tool and making certain the process parameters and using the technology strategy of cutting path in CAM system, in other words, what my research work are the selecting tool and process technology in high speed manufacturing. Through researching the cutting performance of tool, I draw the conclusion that different part material and feature are matched different tool material and type, and the tooling parameters have also special request; according to high speed cutting special tool path request, the tool path should also be set strictly in high speed manufacturing. Therefore I have achieved program of the tool selected and cutting process parameter technology in high speed manufacturing and performed the tool path's cutting strategy and cutting simulation integrated with UGCAM system.
