Study Of Fracturing Technology Adding Fibers In Wenchang Unconsolidated Sandstone Reservoir With Low Permeability

Wenchang oilfield is unconsolidated sandstone reservoir with low permeability, thereservoir has loose cementation, sand production is very serious and the permeability is low,lead to the low natural capacity, so fracturing technology is needed, but Wenchang oilfield isan offshore oilfield, fracturing technology has many restrictions compared to the onshoreoilfield. In order to solve the problem of low productivity and sand production, achieve theeffect of stimulation and sand control at the same time, we launched the research of fracturingtechnology adding fibers. Through literature research and theoretical study, understood thefundamental of fracturing technology adding fibers and the application in unconsolidatedsandstone reservoir; based on the reservoir characteristics, selected fiber type, fiber length,and fiber diameter, evaluated dispersity of fiber through experiment, selected the parameter offiber used in fracturing. Evaluated the impact of fiber on stability of the proppant pack,fracture conductivity and carrying capacity of fracturing fluid,finally determined the wedgyadding way of fibers according to the experiment results. Established the physical model andmathematical model of horizontal well staged fracturing, compiled the horizontal well stagedfracturing software. Taking account of particularity in fracturing at sea and reservoir propertyof wenchang oilfield, divided into four permeability grade and four horizontal length level,optimized the fracture number, fracture conductivity and fracture length, selected appropriatefracture parameters. According to the results of experiments and parameter optimization,formed one fracturing technology adding fibers that suited wenchang unconsolidatedsandstone reservoir with low permeability.
