Hydraulic-electric servo system is widely used in the navigation controlfield due to fast response frequency and high ratio of power to weight andtorque-inertia. Its performance is strongly influenced by the hydraulic-electricservo valve. Until now, for the accuracy request servo vavle, it is stillmanufactured using small batch method. The neck of the manufacture process isthe match grinding to the spool of the slide valve. The efficiency and quality ofthe servo valve highly depends on the skills of the operators.According to the research on the match grinding process, the possibletechnologies used to improve the process is analyzed. The automotive matchgrinding method is chose to ignore the human factors.For, this paper designed a device to prove the feasibility of the automotivematch grinding. A slide tail with on-line detection device is firstly developed andthe micro-feeding center drived by PZT is used. The MCU realized automotivecontrol of the online grinding detection, the data processing, the grinding statedetermine and the micro-feeding.The experiment in the real production environment shows that the deviceusing the automotive match grinding technology could obviously improve theefficiency and accuracy. It builds the basis to realize the large batch productionof the hydraulic-electric servo valve.
