| In recent years, environmental pollution problems have highlightedwith the rapid development of iron and steel industry. The air pollutionwhich caused by the NOxemission excessively have attracted widespreadattention in the society. More than50%of the NOxcome from the sinteringprocess in the iron and steel production. Therefore, reducing NOxemissionis a problem that iron and steel industry must be confronted with.Compared with the burning flue gas, it is much more difficult topurify the sintering flue gas with the terminal flue gas denitrificationtechnique alone. Based on the characteristics of the sintering process andthe sintering flue gas, this paper studies the effects of sintering processparameters on NOxemission. The study includes:(1) When the moisture content of sintering raw materials increasesfrom7.0%to9.0%, the bed depths increases from500mm to700mm,theburnt lime dosage increases from0%to4.2%and the coke breeze contentdecreases from4.3%to3.7%, the NO concentration decreases23%,4.9%,13%,18.1%respectively, when the basicity of sintering raw materialsincreases from1.50to2.25, the nitrogen emission per unit carbondecreases28.6%, when the substituting proportion of anthracite for cokepowder decreases from100%to0%, the NO concentration decreases26%.(2) The research confirms that the sintering parameters can affect thegranulation process and the sintering quality in vary degree. Improving themoisture content of sintering raw material can enhance the granulationeffect and the sintering speed. When the bed depths increases from500mm to700mm, the sinteringspeed decreases from28.13mm·min-1to26.15mm·min-1, the product rateincreases from68.24%to69.24%, the tumbler strength increases from68.24%to69.24%, the utilization coefficient decreases from1.79t·m-2·h-1to1.69t·m-2·h-1.the sintering speed, product rate, tumblerstrength, utilization coefficient increases with the increasing of the basicity. |
